We are not dress trashing | Halifax wedding photographer
Calling all brides, get back into your dress and let’s have some fun!! You probably paid a fortune for it, and you look like a goddess in it, so put it back on. We don’t have to ruin it, or we totally can… What do you want that you didn’t get on the day of? Or just for fun, let’s do this 🙂
I was lucky enough to shoot Samantha and Dan’s gorgeous backyard wedding last summer, and was super pumped to photograph beautiful Sam again. I mean look at this girl! Insane! We started planning this shoot months ago, and surprisingly the date worked out , and the weather held up, and the blossoms were in full bloom in Windsor. Who doesn’t love to visit the Valley in the spring, it’s a romantic spot all on it’s own.
As a bride-to-be myself I am completely overwhelmed by the amazing talent in the wedding industry in Nova Scotia. Bride and groom’s can have it all, and use stellar local talent. I decided to get a few of my favourites to collaborate on this shoot with me, to make it extra special. So a HUGE HUGE thank you to these ridiculously talented ladies. Please check them all out, they’re amazing!
Lauren Arbuckle – Hair
Allison Kirby – Make Up
Chelsea Lee Flowers – Flowers
Something Borrowed Vintage Rentals – Props/ Decor items
OH DINA! – Headpiece
City Girl Cakes – Cake
Look at that amazing City Girl cake!!!! I’ve eaten more than a piece or two in the past as well, DELICIOUS!
Also just to note poor Sam was frozen, but such a trooper! Beautiful and ridiculously sweet!
That bouquet blew me away, and it smelled divine! Chelsea Lee always comes up with the most amazing designs. I am constantly blown away!
A better shot of the amazing detail Nicole McInnis puts into her OH DINA! unique hand crafted pieces. Seriously she was sewing and creating while we chatted about the shoot, it was amazing to see her in action!
These L.O.V.E letters from Something Borrowed Vintage Rentals are going to light up a lot of beautiful weddings this summer!
Another thank you to Lauren Arbuckle and Allsion Kirby who worked on site (oh yeah, like in the field with a power pack! roughing it!) to create these beautiful looks. Now that is being a pro! They were awesome, even picked some dandelions! Also a thank you to Amanda Walker for her super assisting!
